After a lot of hassle..

Friday, February 15th, 2008

There have been a lot of problems with this site, from the Gallery not working to not being able to post after a server move, but hopefully, these are now behind us.

All the photos in the Gallery have to be replaced and the site tidied up, so please bear with me while I get things fixed up.

The good news is the Fatty Cola won more prizes in La Bella Flor 2007 - watch for photos when I get the Gallery organized.

Male & Female Plants

Thursday, August 10th, 2006

These are the Male & Female plants 10 days later. You can now clearly see the difference between the male and female.

Gallery 041_edited

Click on the picture to enlarge and you can see the flowers look like balls. This is when you should be killing off any plants that show these male properties. If you wait any longer all your female plants will be f****d - literally!!

And this is the hairy female. The difference is fairly obvious at this stage.

The only reason you would keep any male plants is if you intend to breed them with a female to make your own cross strains.

How to tell whether your plants are male or female

Monday, July 31st, 2006

As in the human world there is a big difference between a male and female marijuana plant. As you can see from these pics, the male plants pre-flower looks like balls and the female plant has hairs.

Gallery 031

This is a male plant - note the ball-like nodes on the stem.

Gallery 034

This is a female plant. The hairs can be seen on the stems.

It is important to kill all males as soon as you can identify them (unless you are using them to breed).

More pics to come in a few days.

I was gonna blog everyday…….

Wednesday, July 12th, 2006

In the words of the song…

“I was gonna work on my website…but then I got high!

I was gonna blog every day…….but then I got high!

I couldn´t make this rhyme and I know why……

Because I´m high, because I´m high, because I´m high… la la la la la!”

Sun is shining, weather is sweet (lol) and it´s too damn hot to be indoors. Normal service will resume……………….emmmm…….soon!

The plants are all happy out in the sun, getting bigger every day and ready to flower. I´ll get some pics up in the gallery of the outdoor grow, and I might even get another post done before the end of the week.

Is Marijuana Dangerous? Some Facts.

Tuesday, July 4th, 2006

TOBACCO ........................ 400,000

ALL LEGAL DRUGS ................ 20,000

Like any substance, marijuana can be abused. The most common problem attributed to marijuana is frequent overuse, which can induce lethargic behavior, but does not cause serious health problems. Marijuana can cause short-term memory loss, but only while under the influence. Marijuana does not impair long-term memory. Marijuana does not lead to harder drugs. Marijuana does not cause brain damage, genetic damage, or damage the immune system. Unlike alcohol, marijuana does not kill brain cells or induce violent behavior. Continuous long-term smoking of marijuana can cause bronchitis, but the chance of contracting bronchitis from casual marijuana smoking is minuscule. Respiratory health hazards can be totally eliminated by consuming marijuana via non-smoking methods, i.e., ingesting marijuana via baked foods, tincture, or vaporizer. A 1997 UCLA School of Medicine study (Volume 155 of the American Journal of Respiratory & Critical Care Medicine) conducted on 243 marijuana smokers over an 8-year period reported the following: “Findings from the long-term study of heavy, habitual marijuana smokers argue against the concept that continuing heavy use of marijuana is a significant risk factor for the development of chronic lung disease.” “Neither the continuing nor the intermittent marijuana smokers exhibited any significantly different rates of decline in lung function as compared with those individuals who never smoked marijuana.” The study concluded: “No differences were noted between even quite heavy marijuana smoking and nonsmoking of marijuana.

Marijuana does not cause serious health problems like those caused by tobacco or alcohol (e.g., strong addiction, cancer, heart problems, birth defects, emphysema, liver damage, etc.). Death from a marijuana overdose is impossible. In all of world history, there has never been a single human death attributed to a health problem caused by marijuana.
